Candyshoppe Hair Studio was founded by Candace Phillips in 2004. She has also been acknowledged by the
Atlanta Fashion Awards, for "BEST HAIRSTYLIST IN ATLANTA 2010" and in 2014 BEST of ATLANTA AWARD in the HAIR COLORING category, Atlanta Awards Program.
Candace has been in the hair
industry for over 18 years. Originally from Lansing, Michigan she started
off as a shampoo girl at the age 12 under the meticulous training of Terri
Nelson. It was then she was introduced to John Paul Mitchell Systems, and hence
the love affair began. Upon completion of beauty school, while simultaneously
graduating high school, she continued on to college at Grambling State
University in Louisiana, graduating with a BA in Sociology. While attending college she still styled hair as a
licensed cosmetologist and ongoing training classes.
Atlanta has been her home since
1999, adopting local mentors such as Tom Harris, Sherita Williams, and Tony
Promiscuo to name a few. She has trained under some of the top hairstylists in

flowing styles she's known for as well! Candace creates ultra modern, chic
